Dig Alert

Call Before You Dig

If you plan to dig a significant hole or trench on private property or public right of way, call Dig Alert at 811 to notify them of your plans. The Underground Service Alert Office will contact utilities in your area to locate and mark underground lines before you begin. Please allow a full 2-day notice. Emergency digging is not covered by this service.

The Dig Alert team will guide you through the process, and the service is free.
