Be alert for persons posing as water company employees to gain entrance to your home. Water company employees carry color photo id cards which they will show you upon request. To conﬁrm the identity of an employee, please call 1-909-822-2201.
Fontana Water Company will not call customers to request bank account information. Customers are only asked for bank account information when they contact Fontana Water Company and request setting up AutoPay service. Please do not give personal information to any unknown caller.

Be aware of scammers posing as Water Company Employees calling about an unpaid water bill. Water Company Employees will not call you demanding payment for a water bill nor will they ask for a credit card number and security code for payment of a water bill over the phone.
NOTICE OF CHANGE IN POLICY ON DISCONTINUATION OF WATER SERVICE FOR NON-PAYMENT
Beginning February 1, 2020, Fontana Water Company will no longer hand-deliver Notices of Discontinuation of Service for Non-Payment (Urgent Notices). Beginning February 1, 2020, Urgent Notices will be provided to the Customer of Record by mail no less than ten (10) days prior to discontinuance of service for non-payment and, where the Customer of Record’s address is not the address of the property to which service is provided, to the address of the property to which service is provided, addressed to “Occupant.”
