Water Conservation

Water is the lifeblood of the Fontana Water Company, but as we all know from recent droughts, it is a resource we cannot afford to take for granted. Fontana Water Company is committed to doing our part to be good stewards of our water supplies and to support our customers efforts, as well. As part of statewide efforts to become more water efficient, we have developed a number of programs that will help us provide a reliable water supply for today and tomorrow.

From our end, Fontana Water Company tries to reduce water loss leaks in our water distribution system by maintaining and upgrading our wells, pumps, reservoirs and water mains. For instance, we are investing in new leak detection technology and training our field staff to use it. We also sponsor education and plumbing retrofit programs designed to help our customers use water more wisely.
